Halloween Gift Bag Project

Hi guys! Thanks for stopping by. This weeks Polkadoodles DT project are these cute treat bags, perfect for parties or trick or treat goodies. They are nice and simple to create, so let’s get started.

Starting with a piece of 6 x 6 paper (I’ve used a selection from Batty Boo’s Paper Pack (PD8207) and Spooky Special Paper Pack (PD8208)) score the left side at 1.5, 3 and 4.5 cm and at 3 cm across the bottom. You need 2 sheets like this.
Fold the left side scores as shown above.
Trim a tiny wedge from each corner as shown above.
Fold up along bottom score lines and glue the bottom of the bag together.
Cut a circle approximately the same size as the bag from contrasting paper.
Fold the circle in half.
While holding the circle in place at the top of the bag punch 2 holes through all layers.
Print and colour fun characters then glue to each bag. I’ve used Witch Broomstick Gnome (PLPD8962), Witch with Cat (PLPD8968) and Frankenstein Monster (PLPD8980)
To close your bag simply pop a small piece of ribbon through the holes and tie in a bow!
Don’t forget to add some tasty treats!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this weeks project, if you’d like to make some for your own Halloween parties pop over to

See you soon
