For this weeks blog challenge, the design team were asked to create some Christmas organisation, so I knew exactly where to start!
Every year I like to make myself a little Christmas notebook, to keep track of everything I need to make and buy. Sometimes I create a book, from scratch, sometimes I create pages for a planner and sometimes I decorate a plain notebook. It just depends on what I have to hand.
This year, I found a plain notebook in my stash (I’m a bit of a notebook hoarder! 🤫) and decided to give it a Christmassy makeover.
Firstly, I printed a sheet of paper from Winnie Winterland Paper Heaven 4 (find all product links at the bottom of the page) onto vellum and attached it to the cover of my notebook.
Next, I printed out loads of toppers and sentiments from Winnie White Christmas – Coloured Toppers, Winnie Special Moments – Journal Sheets and Winnie White Christmas – Festive Word Art and cut them out.
I chose some tabs and wrote titles of the sections I want in my book.
This is how they look after being attached.
I chose a selection of toppers to create a focal design for the front cover.
I also cut 3 gold circles to add some definition to the toppers.
I added some die-cut gold corner embellishments and as a final touch I die-cut some snowflakes from gold and used them to enhance the design.
Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon.
