Here’s a closer look at my latest Polkadoodles DT project. We had to create something which represented our favourite things about September. Mine is that moment when leaves begin to change colour which marks the transition into autumn.
For this design I printed out loads of images from the Autumn/Fall Digi stamp bundle (https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/autumn-fall-digi-stamps-mono-colour-digital-download-bundle/) and coloured them in with alcohol pens. The card I used was no very alcohol pen friendly but I wanted to add further decorations so went with it!
I doodled on all of the pieces adding stitch lines, dots and swirls. I also added some shading detail to the toadstools.
I spent a while arranging the leaves into a box frame. Once I was happy with the layout I used glue gel to stick everything in place.
I added a doodle frame to finish it off.
