Hi guys
Here’s a little walkthrough of my latest design team project for Polkadoodles.
This weeks DT theme was “Back to School” and there are loads of cool digital downloads on http://www.Polkadoodles.co.uk so I was spoiled for choice!
My starting point for this project was to find a cute character and after a lot of deliberations I finally chose this little guy. This is the “Science Teacher/Student” digi stamp and you will find all of the links at the bottom of the page.
Once he was coloured with alcohol markers and cut out, I was ready to go!
I wanted to create a layer that looked like a piece of homework so I found this old book page and used some ink splodge stamps from my stash to add interest.
These cool embellishments are from the “Work & Play 12 Embellishment Bundle”
On a Kraft card blank I added some patterned paper from the “Work & Play 12 Paper Heaven” download and again added ink splodge stamps.
Once everything was compiled, this is how it looks…
The final touch I added once it was all together was some glossy accents on his glasses, beakers and the light bulb.
